December 2021 Garden

Peppers are surviving indoors even though the office is too cold for them at 50-60F. Plus I trimmed them back quite severely.

Grew sprouts again this year.

Grew microgreens in 100% coconut coir in shallow tomato trays this year. (One brick of coconut coir expands to 15 gallons when wetted.) I was able to use sunflower seeds from my summer garden.

Also grew an inside salad garden. Started the seeds in the bedroom which is 65-70F, then moved to great room which ranges between 40-60F. At first started them in 100% compost using cottage cheese containers, then switched to shallower salad containers.
