granite stitch, another name for Up and Down Stitch; rows of dc alternated by rows of alternating sc,dc

I did a previous tight granite stitch on 7/6/14 (another name for woven stitch on 6/9/14) that consisted of alternating sc and ch where the sc were worked into the ch of the previous row but this new granite stitch is not the same. It appears to be another name for Up and Down Stitch posted 6/7/14

Dc's are crocheted into sc's of previous row
