Astrakan: the dark curly fleece of young karakul lambs from central asia, a cloth imitating this.
Chain 8,
Row 1: 6 hdc starting in 3rd chain from hook. Do Not Turn.
Row 2: Starting from Left *Ch 7, attach with slip st in front loop of hdc* repeat
Row 3: Ch 2, 6 hdc
Not sure if better to put in hook from front or back of front loop of hdc to make slip stitch at end of ch 7 loop.
