5/12/22 Marsh Marigolds blooming. Roses greening up. Tomatillos growing fast.

5/12/22 Woke up to 72F and partly sunny, Then it got up to 82F and sunny. NE wind about 11mph in middle of day.

Marsh marigolds are blooming in swamp along bike trail.

Started repotting process of big pots and fives. Changing to about 50% perlite for better water drainage. Repotted sage (still sleeping from winter unless it died) and a rose that was growing super fast and well in a five. Also put a cage around it. I think it might be the union street rose. Won't know until it blooms. Last year I just stuck various rose twigs in the dirt of various pots and fives to see if they would root or not.

Leeks and Colorado rhubarb seeds are sprouting.

Tomatillos growing very fast with a nice root system so potted into fives. I put them in low greenhouse because next week it's supposed to get cold again. Tall greenhouse temperature up in high 90s on top shelf.

Repotted beefsteak tomato into 4 separate pots.
