8/29-30/22 Beefsteak tomatoes starting to ripen. Neighbor peaches. NZ spinach. Planted root veggies.

About 13 hours of daylight now. Day time temps only getting up to maybe 80F. Dew on grass in morning. Night time temperatures in high 50s.

Most of the peppers throughout the garden are blooming and starting to make peppers
Volunteer pumpkin is turning orange. Leaves are starting to get blotchy white patches and die off. Alyssum blooming good just about everywhere.

Newly planted Romaine, Arugula, and Winter Spinach are coming up in northwest garden. Planted a garden of mostly root vegetables and some peas. Tried animal stopper but prefer fencing with chicken wire.

Neighbor around the corner gave us some peaches. They were so yummy! Beefsteak tomatoes staring to ripen. Remember to get oregano from dehydrator. Herbs hanging in great room still not drying due to our damp weather but seem to be holding up ok. Chamomile not producing many blossoms.
