Dill and cilantro from garden seeds saved last year and scattered in spring is coming up. Pineapple weed and chives are blooming. Corn, cukes, and pole beans coming up in sw garden bed. Greens, roots, and peas suffering from sun and heat in middle south garden beds so covered with shade cloth. It is very dry and hot. I have had to water gardens. However the greens in the sw patio bed are doing fine because the fence shades them from the western afternoon sun.
