7/6/22 Blackberries starting fruit . Nasturiums blooming. Chard, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts growing well.

Purple tomatillo really has sturdy stalks. Ground cherry is starting to fruit. Sweet majoram is growing in patio garden under a tomato.

Something ate the greek basil but the blue and lime basil are growing good in patio garden. Picture of magnolia peas in patio garden before cutting down. Pea production seems to be slowing down. Gave my sister some of these seeds. She really liked how tall this peas grow and the pink flowers. Not all the pods are purple, some are speckled, and some are green. All taste good.

Blackberries are starting to fruit. New Zealand grew back after something ate it earlier this year and this alyssum growing very well. Rhubarb plants from grandpa's garden are ready to pick and make sauce using crockpot. Regular spinach hardly grew and went to seed right away. Nasturiums are starting to bloom.

West gardens. Started to take down magnolia peas so can plant fall crops. It's hard to think that fall will start in 2 months. Probably better to plant shorter peas and not magnolia peas so they can be covered when we start to get frost.

Market mustard, uber, common, and sylvetta arugula doing well in west strawberry garden.  Strawberries are sending out runners.

Chard, broccoli, beets, ground cherry in west gardens.

Toad in west bedroom garden. Sedums budding in east driveway garden.

Harvest today and quesadilla made with garden peas and greens. Turnip and atlas carrot thinnings. Not sure if I like turnips. Bti working good so far on seedlings started indoors. No flying or crawling bugs in soil of indoor seedlings. Seedlings are sprouting very fast in this nice warm weather. Our house is not air conditioned except for bedroom. Nights range from 50-70s. Days are mostly in the 80s with a couple of high 90F days. Finished drying dill in dehydrator.
