7/8/22 A little rain today. Mint growing well. Sylvetta arugula still good to eat. Claytonia disappearing.

Only got up in 70s. Drizzled a couple of hours but not enough rain to measure.

Flowering lemon gem marigold, nasturium, yucca, rose, and squash. Marigold is more bland and is not as tasty as nasturium. Strawberries in southwest garden are sending out runners.

Reflections of east garden during rain.

Mint doing well in mint bench. Sylvetta arugula is still good. Claytonia has almost disappeared. Cilantro forming coriander seed and lettuce growing in cold frame.

Every time I walk past the gardens I look for peas, beans, and chamomile to harvest. Picked some oregano and dill to air dry by hanging in great room. Cilantro went in the fridge. No more radishes left to harvest. Artful display by husband. Right now holding off on harvesting greens. Hopefully will harvest, process, and freeze some kale and rhubarb this weekend.
